Invented by Captain Lenny of Seahawk Charters in Westhaven, this is the deadliest snapper fishing rig GT has ever seen!
It combines the best aspects of a ledger rig and a long trace. With the longline hooks, the fish hook themselves and it is important not to strike when a bite is felt. Give the fish time and wait till the weight comes on the line, then wind and lift the rod. Best baits are chunks of pilchard, with the hook rolled under the backbone.
