The Television Show

The Outdoors with Geoff show has featured on TV3 for the last 14 years. It is a half-hour, fast moving show which looks at the best outdoor adventures to be found in the South Pacific. Geoff Thomas takes viewers to remote locations throughout New Zealand, and also to some of the fishing hotspots in the Pacific region. His blend of humour and fishing philosophy adds to the appeal of the programmes which show not only world class fishing, hunting and action adventures but also the wonderful scenery and colourful characters to be found in the outdoors.

Each series comprises 26 episodes, split into two blocks of 13 weeks, which are repeated the following Saturday morning. The first run screens at 5pm Saturdays, TV3, repeated at 7am the following Saturday. For the other 26 weeks a year we repeat older shows on Saturday mornings only – so we are on screen every Saturday or 52 weeks a year.
